Clinicians
Rebecca (Becca) Halbert, LCSW
Hello, and welcome. I’m Becca, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of The Wave Effect Therapeutic Solutions.
I created The Wave Effect for individuals—especially mothers—who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or misunderstood, and who may not have found relief through talk therapy alone. I specialize in working with trauma and with moms who are carrying an invisible mental and emotional load and are longing to feel understood, supported, and more like themselves again.
With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I am trained in trauma-informed care, EMDR, and Perinatal Mental Health. I frequently support mothers struggling with anxiety, depression, rage, intrusive thoughts, nervous-system overwhelm, and confusing physical or emotional symptoms that don’t always “make sense,” but deeply impact daily life.
Through both professional training and personal experience—including my own journey with postpartum depression—I bring a compassionate, grounded understanding to my work while offering evidence-based care.
Because not everyone responds fully to traditional therapy alone, I take a whole-person approach and also offer LENS neurofeedback, a gentle, nervous-system–based modality that can be especially helpful when clients feel stuck or reactive. I have been a certified LENS practitioner since 2021 and work with clients across the lifespan.
When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my husband, our two children, and our two dogs. Thank you for being here. I would be honored to support you in your healing and wellness journey.

Christina (Tina) Miller, LCSW
Christina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and over 19 years of experience specializing in early childhood mental health. She works with young children (birth to age six) and their caregivers, supporting emotional development, strengthening relationships, and addressing behavioral challenges.
Christina brings deep expertise from working in diverse settings, including in-home and preschool environments. She understands that caregiving can be both rewarding and overwhelming, and she partners with families to navigate the complex emotions and stressors that arise in early childhood. Through a combination of talk and play therapy, Christina helps children and caregivers explore big feelings, improve communication, and foster connection.
She offers individual, group, and dyadic (parent-child) sessions, drawing on evidence-based practices to promote healthy development. Christina is rostered in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and is a certified Circle of Security Parenting™ Facilitator. She has also completed advanced training in perinatal mental health and Child-Centered Play Therapy with a Neuro-relational Emphasis, integrating these approaches to tailor treatment to each family’s unique needs.
Most recently, Christina has added LENS Neurofeedback to her practice, a gentle brain-based intervention that supports emotional regulation and nervous system healing. Her goal is always to create a safe, supportive space where families can reflect, connect, and grow together.
